No matter how many X-Men movies we get, there’s no way we’d ever stop wanting more. At least that’s how we feel. There are several X-Men movies in the pipeline to be released over the next two or three years. However, there were rumors flying around of an unannounced X-Men movie of sorts. Apparently, a seventh X-Men movie is all set to shoot in Montreal, Canada. It will follow the story from X-Men: Apocalypse which is being directed by one Mr. Bryan Singer. According to the rumors, Singer will return to direct the sequel(?) to X-Men: Apocalypse as well.
It was reported over at Le Journal De Montreal that a production office will be set up in Montreal in November 2016 and the shooting will begin early 2017. The wait is too much, but at least the rumors are flooding in. Anyway, if the shooting begins in 2017, we should have a brand new X-Men movie in 2018 or even 2019. The president of Mel Studios Michel Trudel says,
It was a miracle that we managed to attract a movie X-Men in Montreal in 2013. To convince Fox to return for a second and now a third is simply amazing.
Lucky Montreal. So far, we have X-Men: Apocalypse releasing in 2016. There is a third Wolverine movie in the pipeline set to release in 2017 (rumored). The name of the movie has not yet been decided. More than that, we also have Deadpool in 2016, and Gambit somewhere in 2017-18 to look forward to. To have another X-Men movie is a real treat at this point. The sad part however is, that Hugh Jackman may no longer play Wolverine. We are not sure as to which project may be his last at the moment. For now though, let’s just wait for X-Men: Apocalypse which will release on May 27th, 2016.You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ for more updates.
