There are several criterion which that can determine the most dangerous dog breeds however, we are laying our focus on the potential of dog to cause serious injuries. The dog lovers out there may not agree with this list or its content, but the fact remains that dogs can ultimately cause some serious damage if they decide to become aggressive.
Keeping in mind the above, we came up with the following list of most dangerous dog breeds. Let us know what you think.
The first on our list of most dangerous dog breed is a close relative of Siberian Husky, The Alaskan Malamute. If not for their daily exercise, this breed would exert destructive, bored, and disobedient behavior. They can grow up weigh somewhere between 70 and 100 pounds. Moreover, these dogs are prone to staying independent and are thus harder to train than your average dog.
These dogs are excellent guards and have strong instincts. If you are an irresponsible owner, prepare to see the worst reactions from a Rottweiler. Irresponsible behavior constitutes abuse, neglect, and lack of training etc. Also, their strength is something not be taken lightly.
Perhaps the most popular breed of dogs today, but certainly not the most dangerous; The German Shepherd. Obvious by the name, this dog originates from Germany; they are strong, confident, intelligent, highly alert and fearless animals. German Shepherds are also highly possessive and protective of their territory, and if you fail to socialize with them correctly, you can expect danger.
Not my favorite breed of dog, but this breed was primarily bred for baiting bulls and bears. In many parts of the world, these dogs serve as a primary choice for a dog fight contender. In the United States, a Pitbull is considered to be the most dangerous dog. They are good with babies though, human babies.
Last on our list of most dangerous dog breeds is the Caucasian Ovcharka, which is also referred to as the Caucasian Shepherd. It was originally bred to protect livestock. They are strong-willed, brae and assertive when they wish to be. It may seem cute, but it does not accept people that are strange to it and therefore comes out with a powerful urge to defend itself and its owners. Therefore, proper training is required if you are looking to pet one of these.
