After the giant success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in Pakistan, Salman Khan starrer family drama Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is all set to hit theatres in Pakistan the same day as India. The movie will hit cinemas throughout the country right after Diwali on the 12th November, that’s six days from now so you may want to keep an eye on pre-booking. Chances are, the fame that followed Salman Khan with Bajrangi Bhaijaan will carry forward with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and tickets will not be easy to find.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will release together in the neighboring countries, which is positive sign given how showbiz and politics have mixed in the past couple of months. Salman Khan while speaking to the media stated that he would prefer the movie to release at the same time in Pakistan and India. Guess his wish was granted. He added,
The medium [cinema] is really powerful. We can do a lot with this medium. This is our tool and a lot of people appreciate good cinema and good characters. Everyone watches movies and it has a huge I pact on people’s lives, and on society. I think there is no format better than cinema.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo stars Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh (who reportedly bagged a role in Game of Thrones), Anypam Kher and several other mainstream actors.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo united Salman Khan with director Sooraj Barjatya after a gap of 16 years. The movie follows a story about love and family ties with a royal setting in the backdrop. All the signs point to it being a massive hit. Also, this is the very movie which paved the way for Neil Nitin Mukesh to be offered a role in Game of Thrones.
