The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 will release on 19th November in the UK, and 20th November in the USA.
The last installment in The Hunger Games franchise, Mockingjay: Part 2 is exactly a week from its release marking the end of the global phenomenon. Last in the series of The Hunger Games is set to release on the 20th November where the story reaches its climax. Katniss is all set to bring down President Snow’s regime finally. Of course, the release of Mockingjay: Part 2 will be quite bittersweet for the fans because most of them are not exactly willing to let go. Same was the case with the Harry Potter franchise years ago however, spin-offs and stage plays are surfacing these days. Most Hunger Games fans are expecting the same after the finale Mockingjay: Part 2. Is that possible though? The question as to whether The Hunger Games will see its end after the release of Mockingjay: Part 2 was brought up in a press conference recently. To that, producer Nina Jacobson said,
For me Suzanne Collins gave us three great books, we were fortunate enough to make four movies that I think really do justice to them. For me the story feels complete. I feel like we told the story we set out to tell. If Suzanne ever decided that she wants build out anything else in the world and that there are more stories to tell then I would sign up. But if she’s done, I’m done.
The answer sums it up real nice. The story is effectively completed with the release of Mockingjay: Part 2 however, there may be a possibility of newer movies or something to that effect if the author wishes. So if you don’t want The Hunger Games franchise to end, you want to shower the author with letters. Maybe something comes up.You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ for more updates.
