Warning: Post contains potential spoilers for the seventh season of Game of Thrones.
Jon Snow and Sansa Stark finally gained control of Winterfell after snatching it from Ramsay Bolton’s cruel, unworthy hands. Such a relief. Bolton, in the end, got what he so rightly deserved. But where to next? Fans of the popular show have already begun to speculate about where the storyline will head to from here especially in regards to Jon and Sansa. Game of Thrones is rather unpredictable, but that doesn’t stop anyone from theorizing.
A popular belief suggests that after Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons, finally arrives in Westeros, Jon Snow will become romantically involved with her. But, a more interesting theory has started to do rounds on the internet, one involving Jon and Sansa herself. People believe that the new King in the North already accompanies his future wife – Sansa Stark. This theory came from a YouTube vlogger Alt Shift X. He believes that based on the evidence from George R. R. Martin’s books, Jon and Sansa are destined to be together, married.
Jon and Sansa were raised as siblings however, it was revealed that they actually are cousins. Jon Snow is not Ned Stark’s son but his sister Lyanna’s. Jon Snow is the offspring of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen effectively making Jon and Sansa cousins to one another. The idea may still be off-putting, but hey, at least it’s no Cersei and Jaime Lannister (eww!). There is another character who may eventually take Jon’s place as Sansa’s husband but you never know with Martin. At any rate, Game of Thrones fans have developed a newfound interest in Jon and Sansa and even if this theory were true, we ask you not to lose that interest. This theory could be completely wrong.
