25 is the title of the new album by Adele and given the success of the first single Hello from that very album, 25 is expected to be a big hit. There are several reasons for that, one of them being that the album was released after quite some time. In an interesting decision by Adele however, her latest album will not be available on streaming services i.e. iTunes and Spotify etc. Adele may have disappointed her fans on this note. Honestly, they should be disappointed. To add to the disappointment, it was reported on Thursday that 25 will not be available on streaming websites as well.
The development is interesting given the fact that the first single from the album, Hello is already available on streaming services in fact, it has already been pirated and is easily available on the internet, and if you must know, the song has already been downloaded 1.1 million times and that was just the first week. So we don’t really understand the logic behind her decision. Streaming applications and websites would have contributed a lot to the total downloads and sales, who knows what goes on in that genius head of Adele’s.
Apparently, three unnamed people reported originally that Adele’s new album will not be available for online streaming when it releases this Friday. When a spokesman for Adele was reached for a commented on the matter, he declined. The reports are not entirely verified, but we believe that even if the album is not available to stream initially, one week in and it will be available to all the streaming services available. Let’s see if we are right. For now, go ahead and give Hello a listen, again, and again, and again. It’s amazing! You can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ for more updates.
