Game of Thrones season 6 trailer has hit the web and it is exceptionally shy on details. The teaser relies heavily on flashbacks, including some of the most unforeseen deaths and key moments of the story. The teaser is merely 30 seconds, with two different voiceovers. The first voiceover is from Max von Sydow as the Three-Eyed Raven. He says, “We watch, we listen, and we remember. The past is already written, the ink is dry.” During this particular voiceover, the only thing we can see on the screen is Jon Snow. Of course, it may have a deeper meaning, it definitely will, but one immediately goes to thinking whether Jon Snow is alive or not. Given the particular scene and voiceover, it doesn’t seem so.
As soon as the first voiceover dies in the Game of Thrones season 6 trailer, we are hit with a barrage of scenes from the previous seasons, including Ned Stark’s execution, Daenerys Targaryen and her dragon, Arya Stark, and Jamie Lannister. Of course, this suggests that their storylines will be touched and may prevail for the bigger part of Game of Thrones season 6.
Coming towards the end, there is another voice over, this time from Bran Stark. The fact that the opening and closing voiceovers, the only two too, are from Bran and Three-Eyed Raven confirm that Game of Thrones season 6 will heavily revolve around these two characters, which would make sense since both of them were missing from the last season. There are rumors suggesting that Bran will already have evolved into a Greenseer (people who can see the past and the future etc.) for the upcoming season. Well, the teaser had us rolling back into the year-long debate as to whether Jon Snow is alive or not. We have reasons to believe he is.

The teaser ends with Bran saying, “They have no idea what’s coming.” – It’s almost as if the producers are mocking us. Oh the cruelty! Watch the Game of Thrones season 6 teaser below and enjoy!
